FerSin
Silicon Iron Nitride (FerSiN) is a composite obtained by the nitriding of Silicon Iron, presenting notable thermal and mechanical characteristics. This material, available in varying particle sizes, lumps, briquettes and even 325 mesh. It is widely used as a raw material for production of plugging masses for blast furnaces, offering high resistance to heating and low corrosion rate.
Its application in steel increases mechanical and corrosion resistance, while in paints it improves thermal resistance. FerSiN has excellent performance at high temperatures, providing greater performance in industrial processes and applications that demand thermal control and robust resistance.
