Ultra Calcined Alumina
Ultra Calcined alumina is a high purity aluminum oxide, obtained through the electric arc fusion process, in which the alumina is heated to its melting temperature.
Produced with strict quality control and characterized by excellent wear resistance, high hardness and superior thermal stability. Furthermore, its low porosity and high resistance to abrasion make it ideal for applications in high temperature environments and extreme conditions.
This versatile material is widely used in industries that require exceptional mechanical and chemical resistance, such as refractories, abrasives, technical ceramics and coatings. In refractory applications, ultra-calcined alumina offers resistance to thermal shock and corrosion, increasing the durability and efficiency of industrial furnaces. In ceramics, it is used to increase the coefficient of friction in the coating and in technical parts, increasing chemical stability.
Our portfolio includes different specifications of ultra-calcined alumina, adapted to the specific needs of each application, ensuring maximum performance and stability in the final product applications.
